ABSTRACT
This study was designed to assess how shift work and occupational stress affects the level of job satisfaction Among the Nigerian Police Force. The study was conducted using 150 participants in the Estate Police Station as population. Descriptive survey modeling analysis with the use of SPSS. Primary data were collected through the administration of questionnaire on the study population.
Using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient. Preliminary analyses were performed to ensure no violation of the assumptions of normality, linearity and homoscedasticity. There was a weak, positive correlation between the two variables, r = 0.061, N = 150, p > 0.05. Finally, we concluded that the shift work has a significant impact on the job satisfaction of the Nigerian Police Force and that the occupational stress has no significant impact on the job satisfaction of the Nigeria Police Force. The Results were discussed and Suggestions was made for further studies
